The RAD new combo between Skis 'n Boards with an Inline feel!

A minimal learning curve - what could make it more fun? - a 637 foot long 3 jump course -that's wat!

The first launch was 20 ft long and 5 ft high - word out - build up some speed -
The second launch was 33 ft long and 8 ft high! - you're already crusin'. . .
Third and final - 26 ft long and 10 ft HIGH! if ya made it that far - .....

"All out" Practice injuries took their toll:

• Peter Mithoefer over shot his landing and blew out his knee...
• Dave Jarvis, Canada's Silver Medalist in last years' Slopestlye, threw his second rodeo 720 on the last jump, over shot his landing and fractured his right clavicle!
• Neal Lyons hurt his ankle
• Hiroshi Kataoka, Japan's only rep, did in his back
• and Dynastar rider, Alex Vu did a "total body compression" on a "way too hard landing!"

The winners deserved their medals - and they are all USA kinda guys!

The Bronze went to Bryce Raney - who nailed a switch 180, followed by a switch 360 and then finished into a swtich 540!

The Silver went to Mike Nick - the '98 Slopestyle Gold Medalist - Even though he missed his first 540 Liu Kang on the first jump - he nailed it on the second and then followed up with a 720 Liu Kang on the third.

The Gold was grabbed by Chris Hawks - by a slim 1/4 of a point - his last run was awesome! A switch 180 mute grab - to a 360 rocket to mute grab - to a 540 tweaked mute grab!

Special mention by us goes to Brinton Gundersen, the World reigning Snakeboard Champion, who was the only competitor to attempt a "900"! - Way to go!
